The potential of education is limitless. Education often limits. The message behind the School is Out concept is that school does not have to limit those it serves. All of the tools have been provided by the system. But it’s often the system itself that limits the ways that those tools can be applied in order to help students realize their potential.

School is Out is a way to look at the system differently and build new structures and new ways of thinking and doing. In this effort we cannot be afraid to be bold and to speak the truth. We cannot be scared to lift the vail and talk about the things that work and all that does not.

We look to the future with optimism as our time to change the educational experience provided to students is right now. We must work in the present to impact the lives of those we serve because it is their experiences that will shape the future that is to come.
